How it works
Tell us about you both, pay the deposit and upload your documents in My Millennia.
We prepare the affidavit of single status and the Certificate of No Impediment, and file on eCitizen.
We guide you through the notice period, witnesses and the ceremony booking.
After the wedding, we help the foreign spouse with the right pass or residence.
Documents you'll usually need
- Passport bio data page (foreign partner)
- National ID or passport (Kenyan partner)
- Recent passport-size photos of both partners
- Birth certificates of both partners
- Proof of single status from the foreign partner's country or embassy
- Divorce decree or former spouse's death certificate (if previously married)
- Current immigration status of the foreign partner: ETA, visa or entry stamp (if in Kenya)
- ID or passport copies of two witnesses
Documents from abroad must be in English or officially translated, and may need to be legalised or apostilled. We confirm the exact list for your situation.
After the wedding
The foreign spouse of a Kenyan citizen can apply to stay in Kenya. Government fees below are paid to the State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services.
